Horror Pain Gore Death Productions presents this intense split album between Japan's grinding maniacs Retortion Terror and US Death/Grind destroyers INVIDIOSUS! RETORTION TERROR make their HPGD debut with 5 tracks of raw, blistering grindcore straight from Kyoto Japan. Featuring legendary guitarist Takafumi Matsubara (Gridlink, Mortalized Grindcore) and a mysterious lineup of international grinders, RETORTION TERRORpull no punches on this spl it. In 2014, Takafumi suffered a brain infection that made it nearly impossible for him to play guitar, and many thought Gridlink's "Longhena" might be Takafumi's last record. Fortunately, he has beaten those odds; his recovery has been nothing short of miraculous, and he has resumed playing guitar and doing karate in spite of what the doctors told him. This is Takafumi's first release since that final Gridlink album, having overcome some impossible odds to return to playing grindcore. His work with RETORTION TERROR shows that he has no signs of slowing down or stopping anytime soon." Italian Dark/gothic metal - ANIMAE SILENTES "Suffocated" out today via Sliptrick records!


Dark/gothic Italian metal band ANIMAE SILENTES hit the streets with their new album, "Suffocated", released via Sliptrick Records in all regular formats worldwide. The important topics of the album are about the difficult and overwhelming moments we face, of love and hope for better days in the future.

The general sound of "Suffocated" is a constant roller coaster between dark, calm moments sung in a low and soft voice interjected with powerful, heavy and intense sections with higher, more emotive vocals and melodic, powerful instrumental parts. The main songwriter of the "Suffocated" album is Alessandro Sonato “Ramon” while the band helped to refine the songs in rehearsals and during the studio recording.

Industrial-influenced experimental groove metal four-piece based in Northamptonshire, UK - HAEMA announce debut EP "Insurrection" - out October 31st via Sliptrick records


HAEMA are an industrial-influenced experimental groove metal four-piece based in Northamptonshire, UK. Recently, the band has signed to metal label, Sliptrick Records, who will release the quartet’s debut EP, Insurrection on October 31st, which was recorded at Initiate Audio & Media by Neil Hudson (Krysthla/Gutworm).

Formed in 2015, HAEMA encapsulate the essence of modern metal that likes to combine various styles of heavy music together. The four-piece hones in the heaviness and ferocity of groove metal, providing the crunchiest of hooks. This is balanced out by the infectiously catchy hooks reminiscent of the nu metal scene in the early 2000’s. All the while topped off by the a layer of electronic sounds and machine gun like precision found in industrial.

Think if Fear Factory, American Head Charge and Machine Head were chucked into a blender, there’s a definite nod to the early 00s sound that ditched guitar solos in favour of raw emotion, down-tuned riffs and liberal use of electronics.

Within two years as a band, HAEMA have crafted a unique and individual sound that has been compared to the likes of the afformentioned bands also mixed with Tool / Rage Against The Machine overtones.

Existem casos de discos que só acabaram sendo lançados muitos anos após seu tempo de gravação, e o mais interessante é que eles não perdem seu brilho, seu “appeal” de peso. E o grupo norte-americano KILL PROCEDURE é um desses, e tenha certeza: “Brink of Destruction” é um disco muito bom.

Para aqueles que não sabem, “Brink of Destruction” era para ter sido o segundo disco do WINTERS BANE, banda que teve Tim “Ripper” Owens nos vocais antes de este ir para o JUDAS PRIEST. E este disco foi gravado em 1995, e somente agora, 22 anos depois, ele é lançado. Nele, percebemos um Thrash Metal melodioso e envolvente que muitas vezes aparenta aos ouvidos um Metal tradicional moderno, tamanha a carga melódica que o grupo tem. Mas o mais interessante é que, mesmo não sendo inovador, este álbum é extremamente ganchudo, daqueles que você ouve e quer ouvir mais e mais, pois a banda sabe lançar mão de melodias se fácil assimilação, mesmo mantendo um alto nível de agressividade à lá TESTAMENTe MEGADETH.

Ou seja: é ótimo, música para bater cabeça e dar torcicolos prolongados!

A produção de “Brink of Destruction” é muito boa. Mesmo após 22 anos, a clareza necessária para se entender o que a banda está tocando é de primeira, e o balanço entre agressividade, peso e melodia que vem da música do grupo é de alto nível. Tudo bem feito, aliás, até melhor que a sonoridade de muitas bandas atuais, em especial as que buscam aquele som tosco para se assemelharem aos “anos 80”.

A capa do disco, muito bonita por sinal, é um trabalho da Moonring Art Design, com edição final feita pelo artista espanhol David Figueiras, e dá toda a idéia do conteúdo lírico do disco.

E os anos não erodiram o trabalho que “Brink of Destruction” mostra, pois temos uma forma de Heavy/Thrash Metal bem arranjado e dinâmico, com vocais bem legais, uma dupla de guitarras furiosa, e uma base rítmica de muito peso. Com uma técnica bem interessante, o estilo musical do KILL PROCEDURE vai sendo mostrado de tal forma que, ao final da última canção, começamos tudo mais uma vez.

11 canções de primeira nos aguardam no álbum, sendo os grandes destaques a energia envolvente que fui dos riffs de guitarras em “Hate Spilled Over”, as melodias típicas do US Metal que fluem dos andamentos ganchudos de “Trioxynon” (que lindas melodias das guitarras, diga-se de passagem), a pegada mais introspectiva e melancólica de “Spells Death”, o peso cavalar que flui de “Dead Man Walking” (que tem um jeitão mais técnico, onde baixo e bateria dão um show) e de “Brink of Destruction” (esta com bons vocais, refrão de primeira e riffs insanos), os duetos de guitarra à lá NWOBHM de “Mask of the Villain” e suas passagens cheias de contrastes introspectivos, e a porradíssima e instigante “Bone Head”(que tem um jeitão mezzo TESTAMENT/METALLICAde primeira).

Esperemos que o KILL PROCEDURE tenha vindo para ficar, pois a banda é de primeira, e “Brink of Destruction” nos mostra como eles são promissores.

THREE SIXES announce US tour dates


California-based industrial thrash four-piece THREE SIXES is set to hit the road in support of their latest release, "Know God, No Peace".

The band will be joined by PERPETUAL DEMENTIA and ARISE IN CHAOS for the first leg of the two-week trek that kicks off October 12 in Colorado Springs. The tour will also see THREE SIXES hook up with ALLEGAEON in Denver and play two late October dates with MICHALE GRAVES (ex-MISFITS).

Reflecting on the constant bedlam that festers within the confines of this generation, while drawing influence from personal conflict and the harsh reality of the present, THREE SIXES' newest full-length CD represents the overall basis of our current state.

Produced by Marko Olson, (T.A.S.C., Brain Dead Sound Machine and The Flower Leperds) "Know God, No Peace" delivers a blunt attack to the Metal world, with an improved musicality and explosive lyrical content that truly shows the evolution of a band created - solely as a studio project - in 1999 by original founding member and frontman, Damien. The opening teaser of "Saviour" leads to the aggressive "Lead Winged Angel", based on the short but indicative life of serial killer Aileen Wuornos, and comes full circle to the epic title track, a three-part opus that attacks the constant which creates such civil unrest throughout the world - religion.

THREE SIXES new direction incorporates their Metal, Thrash and Techno roots with Hardcore, while simultaneously mixing in a heavy dose of Industrial influence that has built a foundation for a gruesomely realistic portrayal of the our world, currently situated in its infinite, spiraling, state of decline.

ALLIE'S MASS are a heavy-stoned five-member group based in Spain and living in a world of deep shadows. The boys deal with life’s hypocrisy with their dark and damned music inspired and based around the story of Allie, a coven leader. In their own words; “The coven is headed by Allie, our master goddess who guides us through this doomed world, giving us the ability to transform our hatred into sounds, in a small murky room where we, with our amps, cabs and drum kits, can reach that state of communion.”
