Inverse Records are proud to announce the signing of Italian post-apocalyptic thrashers REVOLUTIO. The band will be releasing their new album “Vagrant” in fall 2018.
Revolutio‘s music is an evolution of thrash/groove metal infused with post-apocalyptic and introspective elements, and describes the decay of modern age and the rise of a new era of man.

While the mainstream was saturated with grunge and the metal scene was dominated by black and gothic acts, this traditional metal record was like a godsend and heralded a new era. “For us, the immense success was a real shock in the beginning,” singer Joacim Cans recalls. Suddenly after the release of their debut album, HAMMERFALLwere considered to be the saviors of true metal. They received countless rave reviews from magazines, Wacken Open Air booked the band at prime time on the main stage, Kai Hansen invited the band personally to join as support on the GAMMA RAY tour and the CD entered the German album charts at the amazing position of #38 – an unbelievable achievement during this time. "Our advantage was that no one has expected us and our album. We only did what we wanted and felt compelled to do", continues Cans. The band”s passion was influenced by their heavy metal peers: German metal acts like ACCEPT, HELLOWEEN and STORMWITCH- but also by the underdogs, including WARLORDor PICTURE. “I”m still very proud of this album, it has turned our lives upside down” the vocalist concludes.
The re-release includes the completely remastered version of “Glory To The Brave”, a radio edit of the legendary title track as well as the great cover version of the STORMWITCHclassic “Ravenlord”. The bonus CD will include live versions of “The Metal Age”, “Steel Meets Steel”, “Stone Cold”, “Glory To The Brave”, “Hammerfall” and “The Dragon Lies Bleeding”, as well as a medley of numerous tracks off of their first class debut album, which was recorded live this year at a show in Berlin.
In addition to this, the double CD will also include a bonus DVD containing the first chapters of their “The First Crusade”documentary, which was originally published on VHS. As well as four new, historically edited interview chapters, the DVD also includes a live recording of the band’s Dynamo Open Air show at Eindhoven in 1998. The album will be available as a Digipak box set, including a booklet containing detailed liner notes, photos from the private archives of the band as well as magazine articles, flyers, posters and much more. Fans can also purchase the audio part separately, which includes bonus tracks as a double-vinyl in various colors. There has been no other album that was quite as important for the development of heavy metal in the nineties and now, the milestone will be published in a comprehensive deluxe edition that leaves no fan’s wishes unfulfilled!
Metal United World Wide (MUWW) is a project which brings together metal bands, fans, show organisers, media and other supporters for one big event. The idea is to have metal shows all over the world on the same date identified by the same banner. Everybody can be part and shows are individually organized. The aim is to create a world wide feeling of community as well as attract attention to the performing bands who are predominantly underground bands.
A community project needs community support. The project does not charge participation fees but relies on the support of the metal community. Around 20 show organisers have already agreed to put on a show on 5 May 2018 so far and there are a number of others interested. Below this text and at our website is the updated overview:

Dutch symphonic metal giants EPICA are proud to announce the launch of their brand new live video for 'Consign To Oblivion'. The video was captured during EPICA's sold out show at the Zénith in Paris last February where the band closed their most successful European tour to date together with an excited legion of 5,000 fans! This live video perfectly mirrors the band's craving for non-stop innovation and for continuously improving their live performance. EPICA celebrates 1000th show anniversary at 013 Tilburg!
On Saturday 14th April, 2018 symphonic metal icons EPICA will celebrate their 1000th show anniversary at 013 in Tilburg, the Netherlands. After their recent sold out shows in the Netherlands, EPICA is more than proud to announce that they will perform this mile-stone event at the legendary 013 venue, the exact same venue where it all started for the band 16 years ago!
Rest assured that this night will be celebrated the right way as EPICA invited some very special guests to make sure this night will be remembered! Danish metal sensation MYRKUR and USA's progressive metallers OCEANS OF SLUMBER are already confirmed, and more guests are still to be announced!
Vocalist Simone Simons stated:
"Back in 2002, we could have never imagined that one day we'd be playing our 1,000th live show! This couldn't have happened without the support of our dearest and most loyal EPICA legion, so in order to make this an unforgettable night, we've invited some very cool guests to perform with us!"

Italian alternative rock band FALL HAS COME contain many rock elements within their sound and take inspiration from their own personal issues and life experiences. Their lyrics are about the feelings of the human soul: passions, dreams, love, hopes, illusions...! "Believe" is the first single from their upcoming album, "Nowhere".
Legendary Swedish Black Metal group DOMGÅRD are set to release their highly anticipated third album "Ödelagt" on Carnal Records. Five long years since the release of sophomore album "Myrkviðr", the Gothenburg band has returned with 12 tracks of fierce Black Metal in the finest Swedish tradition with a thematic focus on the dark and enlightening aspects of Germanic mythology, magic and custom.
DOMGÅRD was founded in 1997 by Vindkall, Orm & Trollheim. The following years Ulv joined as a drummer and Illbrand as a vocalist. Some unofficial rehearsal demos were recorded. In 2000 three of four members were imprisoned for several years. Four years later Vindkall and Ulv recorded the demo Blodskald before Vindkall continued on his own until 2008 when the drummer Hrimner and the bass player Hraegelmir (Panphage) joined. In 2009 DOMGÅRD recorded five tracks for a split with Cursed 13 which was released on the winter solstice the same year. The following year Heljarmadr (Cursed 13, Grá, Dark Funeral) joined the trio and contributed on two ful length albums, "I Nifelhels Skygd" (2010) and "Myrkviðr" (2012). Askr joined as the new bass player in 2013 and Mardröm as a second guitarist in 2014.
